About Steve Keen

I am Professor of Economics and Head of Economics, History and Politics at Kingston University London, and a long time critic of conventional economic thought. As well as attacking mainstream thought in Debunking Economics, I am also developing an alternative dynamic approach to economic modelling. The key issue I am tackling here is the prospect for a debt-deflation on the back of the enormous private debts accumulated globally, and our very low rate of inflation.

  1. Steve Hummel says:

Keep using and even increase the Biblical references, as human psychological insights, and you’ll remain on an economic and monetary policy vector toward real and lasting solutions.

People will think it is quaint, not serious or utterly misguided, and you’ll have to either re-tailor your carbon steel mental armor to stealth titanium, or experience satori and not give a shit.….but someday you may not only be one of a handful of economists that saw the crisis coming, but one of the individuals in the pantheon that helped to usher in the next desperately needed systemic step in human evolution.
