About Steve Keen

I am Professor of Economics and Head of Economics, History and Politics at Kingston University London, and a long time critic of conventional economic thought. As well as attacking mainstream thought in Debunking Economics, I am also developing an alternative dynamic approach to economic modelling. The key issue I am tackling here is the prospect for a debt-deflation on the back of the enormous private debts accumulated globally, and our very low rate of inflation.

As someone who is passionate about planning and catalyzing the implementation and accelerated development of Minsky’s theories, I find this to be an exciting opportunity. I became interested in Vissim due to Mr. Keens models. Among many other actions that are far more involved, I also moderate a Facebook Page about Minsky which has nearly turned into a Steve Keen Page. Keen readers may enjoy it:!/pages/Hyman-P-Minsky/343317561979?ref=ts

  • Just letting everyone know that this event is now over-subscribed and no more bookings will be accepted.

Apologies to those who miss out, and thanks to the 25 who will be there.

    Cheers, Steve
